STAY CONNECTED

A wireless network that supports dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of devices simultaneously and consistently must be expertly designed, built and maintained to minimize the risk of outages. Take that approach, and you will have a network that mitigates the risk of spotty coverage, dead zones, and costly, unexpected outages.

Tridon Towers engineers and technicians have the training, experience, and resources to provide your operation with such a network. By collaborating with your team at every stage of the project, we will design, build, and maintain a network that will exceed your expectations for performance, reliability, and longevity.

5G EXPANSION

The next generation of mobile networks has arrived, and end-users looking for ways to take advantage of the increased capacity, speed, and reliability the new standard has to offer. By working with your team, our engineers and tower technicians will ensure you have a robust, regularly maintained network that supports your end users whenever they need it.

Coverage Analysis

Our engineers will work with your team to map out the desired coverage area of your 5G network to ensure you have the devices you need and the tower infrastructure in place. If there are any potential gaps in your network, we’ll recommend solutions to fill them before our technicians deploy the solution.

Procurement

Not all wireless devices are designed to take advantage of 5G. If you have any questions about selecting wireless devices that can, our team will guide you through the process and provide options that fit your budget and meet your objectives.

Installation & Maintenance

Once your equipment is selected and your network designed, our tower riggers will handle the installation and whatever periodic maintenance you require.  In the event of an unplanned outage, our on-call tower technicians can deploy immediately to minimize the length of the disruption.

SMALL CELL

Increased demand for bandwidth can cause a previously thriving cellular network to lag and fail to meet the end users’ expectations for performance. Upgrading to a 5G network can solve these problems, but installing a small cell network can do the job, too.

A small cell network is made up of a series of antennae, or nodes, that relieve the capacity demands on your existing infrastructure by taking it up itself. These nodes are installed throughout your coverage area – at elevation and closer to the end user- and allow them to use the devices they have at the speeds they need. Here’s how Tridon Towers can help.

Capacity Testing

Our communications technicians and engineers will work with you to identify the actual demand being put on your current system compared to the demand it is designed to support. That information will let them know just what level of increased capacity your network requires.

System Design

Once the level of increased capacity – or wireless density – has been determined, our Engineering Department will get to work designing a system that meets your objectives, ensuring the right equipment and installation locations are chosen.

Installation, Testing, and Maintenance

Using the plan, our technicians will install your smart cell equipment so that it supports the bandwidth demands of your end users. They will test the network to ensure it meets or exceeds your expectations, and perform regular maintenance to see that it performs optimally for its entire life cycle.

DISTRIBUTED ANTENNAE SYSTEMS

If you need to improve cellular coverage inside your building or across your site, a distributed antennae system (DAS) could be the ideal solution.

A DAS can fill in the gaps in an outdoor cellular coverage area – like a tunnel – to ensure commuters, city staff, and emergency responders can have a reliable means of communication in an otherwise hard to reach area. A DAS can also improve cellular coverage in buildings, like office towers and hotels, meaning tenants and guests won’t run into any ‘dead zones’ during their stay. Here’s how Tridon Towers can help:

Coverage Testing

Before installing or recommending anything, our engineers will take a tour of your site or facility to determine the full extent of the coverage challenges you are facing.

System Design

Once our team determines which areas are in need of coverage enhancement, they will design a system that includes the number of antennae required to solve the problem and the ideal locations to install them.

Installation & Maintenance

Once you approve of the plan, Tridon Towers technicians will install the antennae with minimal disruption to your operation. They’ll maintain the effectiveness of the solution with regular inspection and maintenance and respond rapidly if there is ever an unplanned outage.

MICROWAVE

Your operation requires connectivity. Whether it’s to support a remote office or to get real-time data to and from a remote stretch of pipeline, your project and your people need a consistent, reliable, high-capacity internet connection to get the job done. Microwave point-to-point links are the solution of choice for industry and government because they can provide high-speed voice and data communication to remote and rural areas without the need for a costly investment in infrastructure.

Tridon Towers can provide this cost-effective solution on a long-term or rental basis, depending on the requirements of your project. Here are other ways we can help:

Network Design

Tridon Towers engineers and technicians will ensure your connection is up and running on day one by choosing the right equipment to reliable service and the best elevation to provide unobstructed line of sight.

Installation, Testing, and Maintenance

Tridon Towers tower technicians will install the microwave links, whether the ideal location is at the top of your building or a 100-metre tower. They’ll test the link to ensure a solid connection and provide routine maintenance. And, in the event of an unplanned outage, on-call technicians will respond – day or night – to get you back online.
